A hungry caterpillar and other animals!

Good Afternoon!
This week we have done lots of things!

First of all, we continue working on weather, as we do everyday, after the routines.

Finally, we are discovering different animals: Farm Animals and Jungle Animals. We are looking for them in a very funny way.

We love animals!

Hello everyone!

Today, our post is dedicated to my youngest students! 

We are going through the animals and their corresponding sounds in English! Here you can see some photos from one of our weekly sessions. As always, we are spending the last ten minutes in coloring paintings which are related to the topic we are studying at the moment! 

Aren't they cute? I bet they are! 

I will also leave you attached some of the songs we have introduced in our routine! Hope you like them! Feel free to make them practise at home any time you or they want to!

Valentine's Day!

 Happy Valentine's Day!

And here we are again. I know it is a little bit late to say that since Valentine's Day is celebrated on February 14th- which was last week, on Friday.

We did not have time to include the love topic in our schedule because the Opposites Adjectives kept us busy the whole week! Anyway, yesterday we learnt Saint Valentine's Story and also got to know who Cupid was! We made our own cards with the caricatures I had prepared earlier this day. We have done the same today, excepting the cards due to the fact that the students from Tuesday had the chance to enjoy their own caricatures last week.

Anyway, I just wanted to remark that we had a great time talking about such a romantic and positive subject!

You should take a look at the photos; all of them are great! I was happy to see that Álvaro, Jordi, Lucia, Alba and Érika liked my presents!

Here it is The History of Saint Valentine's Day; I am sure the kids from Tuesday will be happy to see it published on our blog because they did not have the chance to watch it in class-  we were running out of time as always and had to finish our worksheets as quickly as we could.

Weather routine

Hello parents!

Here we are again!

These last weeks we are paying attention to what is the weather like every day.

Today, Is it Hot or Cold?
Is it raining? Or maybe is it windy? Is it Cloudy? Or Is it Sunny?

Finally, we are working also differents emotions in English. We discovered the Twinkle Star Story and we draw our own star.

Opposites

Hello again!

Opposites are easy, but they are surely a lot. Here you have some of them: this is one of the worksheets we are about to work on. Will they be able to put them all together? We will see it next week.

Our students made a great job these last two weeks and that is why I decided to reward them with the Opposites Adjectives Game. Ask them about it and they will tell you how many cards they got! There was no winner since it was about matching the opposites after founding and collecting them. In addition, it was a great tool to put in practise everything we have been working on this month. 

Congratulations Gerard, Emma, Mireia, Marc, Fiona, Andrea and Álex! Keep working this way and soon you will know more than you thought you would.

Who thought that learning was boring?

And here we are again! 

Those who once said that studying was not interesting, were wrong! 

Here we have Jordi, Alba, Lucia, Érika and Álvaro getting to know the months of the year which was a new topic for them. They seem to be having fun, don't they? I think so!

Colors and Kids School 2013

Hello parents and children!

As you can see, this post is dedicated to 2013 since it contains photos from last year. The first term went by so fast that at the end we did not realize three months had already passed! Even that the time flew, we had some great moments while studying English also getting to know each other. 

First of all, you should have a look at some of our Halloween activities. 

Take a look at our Big City named The English Town. Adrià and Denis made an unexpectedly good team and here you have the results of their work!

Finally, here you have some of our Christmas photos. As you can see, the kids had fun dressed up as Rudolph!

And the best of all were the marks. What you see here is the proof that they worked hard in order to get these excellent results! Congratulations (again) to all of them. Hope to see them improving even more!
